Sameer Chothani, Managing Director – Head of UBS India Service Company and Group Technology Head India

Sameer Chothani is a Managing Director at UBS, with over 25 years of experience in Technology, Strategy & Transformation, Consulting and Operations. 

Effective 1st April 2026, Sameer has taken over as Head of India Service Company and Group Technology Head for India. In this capacity, his focus is on strengthening UBS Business Solutions Strategy and Services, and further expanding the organization’s footprint in India, ensuring sustained success and growth. 

In his previous dual hat role, Sameer led the UBS /Credit Suisse India BuSo Integration and Technology Services organization in India. 

Born and raised in India (Mumbai), he holds a Degree in Engineering from Mumbai University and Masters in Business Administration from University of Washington. 

In his vast career, Sameer has worked with industry leading organizations like Microsoft Corporation, Credit Suisse and Ernst & Young.
